This year’s Gostynin Christmas Fair, which took place over the weekend on the market square near the Town Hall, brought residents a host of holiday attractions. The event ended on Sunday, December 15, offering participants an unforgettable experience.
One of the main attractions on the last day of the fair were actors from the Ukrainian street theater Voskresinnia. Their performance entitled. “When Angels Descend to Earth” – telling the story of the birth of Jesus – delighted the audience. The performance, full of lighting effects, stilt walkers and fire, ended with an unusual scene, during which the angel actors descended on ropes from the top of the City Hall directly to the market square.
